About us

The Ajegunle Chiefs Association is a non-Ethnic, non-Religious, and non-Political recreational Socio-cultural Brotherhood and ‘digital’ Chieftancy – comprising of Ajegunle Borns, eminent Residents and Local Business Owners, distinguished Public Servants, & carefull curated Honorary Members from across the nation and all works of life.

Apart from the Association’s mission and formal contents, our major hobbies are: socializing, clubbing, and enjoying life responsibly; as we boast of our own private Club-House, Executive Lounge, Bar, Restaurant & Suites…. and most significantly – # We are Ajegunle.

Our Mission

Our summary agenda is to promote the rich Cultural Heritage and History of Ajegunle through Clubbing, Membership Welfare, Charity, and Community Empowerment; working in collaboration with other well meaning associations and government agencies at all levels to foster Unity, Peace, and Socio-economic Development in our beloved craddle land of birth.

Our History

Though birthed and christened in 2010, the Ajegunle Chiefs Association has it’s roots and metamorphosed from ‘The AJ Forum,’ a communual welfare platform spontaneously convened in 2003 by a few distinguished folks, bulk of who transited into our maiden membership under respectively awarded ‘Chieftancy Titles,’ or provisional designation of ‘Generals.’

The Association has continued to grow by leaps and bounds over the years; attracting quality members and the cream dela cream of our community from home and abroad; including the incumbent LG Chairman and No.1 Citizen of Ajegunle, Hon. Olalekan O. Akindipe, the PG Ajegunle Association UK, and Chief John Asiemo aka Daddy Showkey, and not forgetting our pioneer Grand-Patron, the Late Chief Raymond Dokpesi – amongst other distinguished personalities captured on our Members and Events gallery.

Today we pride ourselves as Ajegunle’s finest and foremost Socio-cultural Association with an illustrious history of community service, youth empowerment, social advocacy, and an unmatched membership welfare support system.

Yet the best part of our history is in the future.
